Subscriptions - Opting In
Introduction
Our mesaging platform only permits 70589 messages to be delivered to mobile handsets who's users have given explicit permission to receive them.
This ensures that you only receive the text-messages that you want to receive at frequencies that are acceptable to you.
In the case of one-time events, permission is granted through a single text-message, but in the case of subscription services, a two-step procedure (called "opting in" or "subscribing") must be followed.
Step 1: Showing Your Willingness
The first step is to show your willingness to take part in the service and involves you texting any of the following opt-in commands along with the service's designated keyword to the 70589 short code:
Step 2: Confiriming Your Willingness
Once you've completed Step 1, you'll receive a text-message providing brief details of the service which asks you to confirm your willingness. You then have 24 hours to reply with any of the following confirmation commands:
The process will then be completed and your subscription would begin.
End of Month Reminders
For each subscription that you have opted-in to, you will receive an automated EOM (end of month) message that reminds you of your subscriptions as well as details on how to opt-out if you change your mind.
